Is design stuff like that really hard or is it easy? i've done a bit of picture making but not really to that degree.

I like making sprites for games i create using gamemaker (easy to make games with) has anyone else used gamemaker if so do you like it or prefer other things like programming games with C++ or something.

All programming I do is with C/C++ which I've been using for almost three years, it takes time to learn the language, but I don't think it can get much more professional and stable than C++, learning how to design a client and GUI takes a while but from there it gets much easier...
